In the UK
- the duration of daylight gradually changes unless clouds affect them
- time for (Muslim) housewives to start cooking varies: as solat time changes everyday
- have good broadband at home & good customer service as standard
- windows are usually closed to keep heat inside and lower heating costs
- different clothes for different seasons (more chance for experimentation)
- it's ok to leave food out for a while as pests are uncommon (flies come during summer, others come in the winter for shelter - we have a cat for this purpose)
- fast foods are cheaper, organic foods cost more
In Malaysia,
- you have the luxury of buying food for daily meals that are both halal and affordable.
- you have live azan reminding you what time of the day it is, roughly the same time daily
- you have broken languages spoken and people still understand each other
- windows are opened to let heat out and air circulate
- the clothes you buy are usually for life (this is why women love handbags and shoes - their sizes dont change to wear them)
- it is more common to have a car or own transportation as standard as walking is usually out of the question
- fast foods are more expensive, organic foods are cheaper
